Networked Chess

A display of the 3D CHESS game in a single module giving the IP as 127.0.0.1 to test network interactivity.

This project was one which I put in a lot of hardwork on. It uses OpenGL as the interface in the windows (created by windows programming).
  • The 3D models (pieces and board) were created by 3D Studio Max 9.
  • The OpenGL and move programming allows checks to be displayed and prevents illegal moves from being played.
  • The networking was done using winsock.h and was peer to peer based using a TCP protocol.
  • Programming : Me  Models : Suhail Saleem

Attached below is the code for the project.
